Description
I do not know what I may appear to the world; but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the seashore, and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me.- Isaac Newton
This is the first shot of a series I took while hiking on on a mountain called Mission Peak. This about halfway up. From the top, you could see the entire Silicon Valley and all the way up into San Francisco. I really liked this shot because of the colors and if you looked really hard from there, you could see out over the ocean.

Great composition!
I do agree about a bit to vivid colors. If you just turn down the saturation a bit it would have my max.

This is a really beautiful shot too. The sharp focus on the post and the barbed wire is excellent. And the fact that the valley isn't completely lost and out of focus is a wise choice. Nice work! 9/9
